My beautiful angel, my mother.
You passed on Christmas morning and on that day was the last lunar eclipse of the decade. The darkest of times. Yet it’s only in the darkness that we can truly experience the light, the rebirth, the transition to what is next.
You gave me my wondrous life, you held me in the good times and the bad, you protected me, you taught me how to be courageous, how to never give up, how to be kind, how to dance, how to tell jokes, how to forgive, and about death. You loved me unconditionally. I will always love you and you will always be with me.
I just finished documenting five people on a weeklong retreat with the master plant medicine Iboga.
It was one of the most powerful experiences of my life to witness the deep transformation physically, mentally, and spiritually of all the subjects throughout the week. It is the beginning of a year long journey that I am excited to share with the world.
